Julien and his team are super professional and pleasant to work with but the best part is they have amazing taste. When you stage a home you want the style to no only go with the architecture and vibe of the house but also to go with the area. All areas in LA are unique and all bring different flavor. When a stager has a good understating of that, it means the world. Almost all my homes that Mid Modern Design has staged for me have sold quickly and above the asking price. I highly recommend them!

The staging for our charming Venice Beach listing is simply perfect! Mid Modern Designs provides beautiful staging, outstanding service, excellent communication and very competitive pricing. I highly recommend using them!
I used Mid Modern Designs to partially stage my rental home. Needed it to be staged within a week. They were very accommodating on last minute notice. The furniture was in great condition and high end. The designer was helpful in ensuring that the décor met my style. Affordable compared to other quotes I received and the process was easy. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience working with Mid Modern Designs. A designer came to meet me at the property and took the time to really look at the unit to accent the best features and make the home bright, airy and comfortable. The result was a unique look that didn’t look too “staged” but it felt like a very stylish owner had lived in it. The quality and details of the staging items were also great. In the past, I have had stagers bring dirty or worn furniture. The pricing was reasonable. We received great feedback from all the buyers walking through and the property went into escrow quickly so I’m very happy with the results and my sellers in return were happy with my recommendation!
You love the space for a reason. We’ll tailor your staging to use the unique personality that comes from your home. And show buyers why they’ll love making it their own.

Home Staging FAQs
How much does home staging cost in Los Angeles?
Home staging costs can range from $3,000-$10,000 and sometimes more, depending on the size of the property. Typically, a two-bedroom condo 1,000-1,500 sq. ft. will cost anywhere from $4,500-$6,500. While a four-bedroom home 2,000-2,500 sq. ft. can range from $7,000-$9,000. Staging costs include a designer walk through and consultation, moving costs both into the property and out, plus three full months of staging.
Do homes sell faster when staged?
According to a recent study by the National Association of Realtors, on average, staged homes sell 88% faster and for 20% more than non-staged homes.
Additionally, potential buyers spend on average 40 minutes in a staged home compared to only 5 minutes in a non-staged home.
Is it worth the money to stage a home?
All realtors know the opportunity cost of a property sitting vacant on the market for months at a time. According to HomeAdvisor, homes that have been staged spend between 33% and 50% less time on the market. The small investment of staging your home can move your listing faster and drive more quality offers for your client.
What should you not do when staging a home?
Stick to a cohesive style that remains consistent throughout the property. Many people think a home should be staged in a way that’s conducive to livability, while a good home stager stages a home in a way that highlights its features for photos and walkthroughs.
Are home staging costs tax deductible?
Staging costs can be subtracted from the total profit accrued from a sale. The IRS lists home staging as a selling expense for both primary and secondary homes and are therefore tax deductible.
Can I extend my staging beyond the standard three months?
Yes, absolutely! Staging can be extended on a month-to-month basis, typically at a lower cost since all the major expenses are baked into the original quote. The month-to-month costs can be found in our staging agreements that we send to our clients.
Why shouldn’t I virtually stage my home?
There are a number of reasons why virtually staging a home just doesn’t cut it anymore. First, prospective buyers really like to visualize their future home in person. Buyers can have a hard time imagining themselves living in a home that’s completely vacant. Second, it can be misleading when buyers expect the interior to look just like the photos they’ve previewed online. Lastly, empty rooms can feel small, cold, and uninviting which is the opposite of what you’re trying to achieve when trying to sell a home.
What happens to furniture after staging?
Once contingencies are removed and the client is comfortable with de-staging the property, our movers will come and remove all furniture, accessories, and décor unless the buyer is interested in purchasing some pieces. In that case, we’ll leave the agreed upon items behind and the rest will be removed. The de-staging process is included in the home staging price. If you’re looking for furniture staging in Los Angeles, please reach out to one of our staging experts today.
What are the costs associated with staging?
There are a number of fixed costs for staging companies, such as movers, gas, labor, insurance, storage, designers, furniture, cleaning, etc. We use the highest quality furniture when we stage, the best designers, and the most professional movers. Our home staging prices are quite reasonable compared to some of the high-end luxury staging companies you’ll find in Los Angeles.
